Welcome to JTP Productions. I’m the person behind the camera, and I genuinely love what I do.
I’m James, the owner of JTP Productions, a wedding and event photography and videography business established in 2018, when I captured my first wedding in France.
My background is in video editing, where I worked on short films, documentaries, music videos and corporate work. I loved the creative process of bringing different pieces together to create a story, and that eventually led me to want to be the person capturing those moments too.
Photography had always been a passion of mine. I bought my first SLR film camera in 2000, and over the years that hobby developed into something I wanted to pursue professionally.

My first SLR
Photography started as a hobby. I bought my first SLR film camera and began learning through taking pictures, experimenting and simply enjoying the process.
Learning the craft
My creative career developed through video editing, working on short films, documentaries, music videos and corporate projects. Alongside this, I studied photography, wedding photography and videography, gaining diplomas in each field.
The first wedding
JTP Productions began when I captured my first wedding in France. It was the point where photography, filmmaking and storytelling came together professionally.

At JTP Productions, I combine photography and videography to offer a relaxed, personal service. I believe your wedding should feel like your wedding, not a photoshoot. I want you to enjoy your day, while I quietly look for the moments, people and atmosphere that make it yours.
I love the big moments, but it is often the little ones that stay with me. The nervous laugh before the ceremony, a glance across the room, your friends losing it on the dance floor. Those are the moments I want to notice and preserve.

I pride myself on providing excellent customer service and building genuine relationships with my couples. It matters to me that you feel comfortable around me, because the more relaxed you are, the more naturally your photographs and film will feel.
My approach is discreet and unobtrusive, with a little direction when it is useful. I am there to capture what actually happens, rather than turn your wedding into a production for the camera.
Whether you choose photography, videography or both, my aim is simple: to create something you will genuinely want to come back to years from now.
