Hybrid wedding photography and videography brings both formats together without treating either as an afterthought. I understand how to work with a camera for stills, how to capture moving images, and how to think ahead for the finished photographs and film at the same time.
That joined up approach helps me move between the two naturally. I can look for the expression that makes a photograph, then capture the movement, sound and atmosphere that make a film feel like being there again.

Hybrid coverage works because the day is approached as a whole. I am constantly balancing the stills and film, anticipating moments, choosing the right perspective and making decisions with the final result in mind.
Crucially, I do not have to cover every angle entirely on my own. I work with a dedicated second videographer who supports the film coverage, including groom preparations, the ceremony and speeches, as well as additional angles and moments happening elsewhere at the same time.
That extra pair of hands gives me more freedom to concentrate on creating a strong photographic collection while the film coverage continues alongside it. It is a practical partnership designed around the reality of a wedding day.
